This is my 5th tattoo done by J.T. at Aart Accent in LaGrange, GA. There isn’t much to explain about it really. Its clever and I thought fitting since I am Italian and work in an Italian restaurant. When I was a kid we had a comic on our fridge that said “the pastabilities are endless” as well so why not?

This is my Truffula Trees tattoo on my right Achilles heel. It’s really special to me because when I watched the cute-ass movie “The Lorax” I came to a realization that people take this planet for granted. If you have yet to see the Lorax, watch it and pay close attention to what it’s trying to reveal. I got this tattoo at tattoos by Alex in Hialeah Florida, by Alex himself.

I never pictured myself as someone that would get a matching tattoo, but while discussing tattoo ideas with my boyfriend one day, I simply said “we should just get avocado tattoos!” The next week, we went to House of Madness in Hampstead, MD, and Jason made our silly idea a reality.

Why avocados? We love them. We eat them all the time. We’re also vegans, and it was a way to celebrate that part of our lives as well. My boyfriend has the avocado with the seed in it, hence the “male,” while mine has the hole, or the “female.” We also placed it in a spot that would make our avocados match up while we are embracing, just to add to the “cuteness” of these tattoos.
